Zusammenfassungen
Culture 1.0 is the culmination of more than two
decades of research by Walter Reinhold of New
York University. During these years Mr. Reinhold, a
specialist in music history and the humanities, has
designed sixteen courses running the gamut from
medieval to 20th Century music, art and history.
This program conveys the fruits of his labors via the
medium of HyperCard and features the following:- A multi-media cointextual guide to more than 2800 years of western history and culture
- 1750 cards of Cul1 re CS+ Megabytes of HyperCard stacks) th4:l t convert the Macintosh into an educational workstation
- 21 cultural grids vhere disciplines of the humanities are displayed by country
- Over 200 graphias images of famous people, places and works of art
- 75 signature melodies of famous composers
- 30 general essays that introduce each historical period with specific references to art and music
- 59 period essays ~Dn famous people, events, and aspects of Western Civilization

Beat und diese Hypermedia-Sammlung
Beat hat diese Hypermedia-Sammlung während seiner Zeit am Institut für Medien und Schule (IMS) ins Biblionetz aufgenommen. Er hat diese Hypermedia-Sammlung einmalig erfasst und bisher nicht mehr bearbeitet. Beat besitzt kein physisches, aber ein digitales Exemplar. (das er aber aus Urheberrechtsgründen nicht einfach weitergeben darf). Aufgrund der wenigen Einträge im Biblionetz scheint er es nicht wirklich gelesen zu haben. Es gibt bisher auch nur wenige Objekte im Biblionetz, die dieses Werk zitieren.
