Cathleen NorrisElliot SolowayMany people who haven't really worked with handheld computers think that the handheld screen is too small to be functional. It's been our experience that screen size issues fall away quickly when people see the potential of the computer. It's a question of the right tool for the right Job. The screen wouldn't be perfect, for example, for running a desktop publishing program or editing large graphics files. The screen is perfect for basic tasks such as viewing databases and spreadsheets, runninq selected curriculum software, viewing electronic grade books, and reading e-books. (You can even rotate the image 90 degrees right or left to make holding the handheld more comfortable as you read.) You can usually adjust the point size of the usually adjust the point size of the text display to make things larger if necessary. Besides, your eyes can only see so much at one time. Think of it as "right-sized, bytesized" Information presentation.
